Ava is growing!

Just a little Ava update! She is now 3 lbs and 3 oz. She is still eating well and continues to do better learning how to nurse. Today, I am going to Cherokee Christian for a baby shower given to me by the staff. A little weird, because I am not pregnant anymore but I also do not have my baby girl with me. It is still hard for me to leave her everyday. If I am by myself, I usually cry and jam to praise music as I drive down Hwy 41. By the time I get home I am okay. Ava is today 3 weeks old from her birth and is also considered 33 weeks gestationally. She is still very active and is of course the cutest one there!

So thankful that Ava is doing so well and now over 3 lbs. Looking forward to family baby Ava shower time on Saturday. I'm really sorry that Stacy and Joy can't be there, but I'll have Emily and Erin. They never want to miss a party!

I hope you had fun at the shower today, and felt loved and "showered". I'm thankful for the good report: 3 pounds, 3 ounces, 3 weeks old, 33 weeks gestationally - that is a lot of "3's"
I pray for you often having to leave. Having to turn your baby over to someone else just rips a momma's heart out. That's what makes you the momma. A good friend once told me that she prayed that God would restore the time I missed, and He has abundantly. Praying same for you.
Love you,
E

I am so glad to hear the good reports! That is a lot of 3's! She is beautiful! Just like her mother....I am sure her spirit will be as fiesty yet as gentle and her mother too!!! I love you abs! I admire you just continue to let God draw you close to HIM. When I read the comment about you crying and jamming to praise music I thought of how many times we have done that in the past....over things that now seem so trivial. I love you. Great big hugs to you and sweet Ava. I hope to meet her. Jules
