Welcome to our Halloween party!

On Wednesday we went trick or treating at Daddy's office and got to see Grandmamma
Ava is having a great Halloween season. On Wednesday, we went and trick or treated at Daddy's office. All the guys at the office thought Ava was the cutest pumpkin. On Thursday, Ava invited all of her little friends to her house for a Halloween party. The enjoyed Halloween snacks and made a craft (thank you Mrs. Kristen). All of the kids played great together and the mommies had a fun time too, getting to have grown up talk. Ava wants to wish all of her friends a very HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Our playgroup went to the pumpkin patch at a local church this morning. It was a wonderful place and a perfect time to get some cute pictures. Of course trying to get six children to sit still and look at the camera was a little tricky. After a fun time a the pumpkin patch we all went out and had lunch together. It was a quick lunch but a fun one. Ava had a great time spending the morning with her good friends!

"Mom and Dad I want this one!"

Look at that cute face!

"Mom this pony is just my size!"

Today Mommy and Daddy took Ava to the Yahoo Farms in Jasper, GA to a pumpkin patch. We all thought it was going to be a cool fall day, but it ended up feeling more like winter...it was only about 50 degrees this afternoon! Ava wore her new pink fleece and pink sock hat. At the farm we took pictures with the pumpkins and Ava picked out her own pumpkin. Ava even enjoyed riding a pony for the first time, she squealed and laughed the whole time! Don't worry Mommy walked right beside her. It was a wonderful day of family fun!

Ava and McClellen at the carnival

What a fun filled week we have had! While Daddy was in China for business Ava and Mommy went to Greenville and stayed with Grammy and Doc. We enjoyed a carnival at ERBC, where Ava road a horse for the first time...well just sat on it for a picture! During the week we had tons of fun with Grammy and Doc. We even had a play date with McClellen! Ava had many big accomplishments this week. Ava learned to drink out of a straw, sit up in the bathtub, play with some new toys and feed herself some puffs! At the end of the week, Daddy got back in town from his trip to China and came to Greenville to meet Mommy and Ava. Mommy and Daddy had a fun "parent's only" weekend up in Asheville, NC. On the way up, we stopped at the Sky Top Ochard and took funny pictures and bought some yummy apple butter. We then headed to Asheville. We stayed at a beautiful Bed and Breakfast, shopped in Asheville and toured the Biltmore house. It was a much needed, wonderful vacation...though we did miss Ava a bunch!
