We graduated!!

Today we had our seven week and one day ultrasound. Our baby is now 12 mm long, about the size of a blueberry or a green pea. We were able to see the heartbeat again and it is going very strong! Since all was well, we graduated from Atlanta Center For Reproductive Medicine! YEAH!! This is an amazing practice that truely speacializes in healing the entire person in helping solve infertility issues. The doctors and nurses at ACRM are so very professional but kind at the same time. Even though I know I was was one of hundreds if not thousands of people in the Atlanta area going through the same struggle, I always felt that their attention was completely on me.

I thank God each and everyday for using ACRM to help us become pregnant. I know and believe that God is the giver and creator of life but sometimes He calls us to use our brains and our belief systems in order to accomplish His perfect will! We began going to ACRM in March of 2008 because I had some issues with my cylce. By June of 2008 we were pregnant! If you have anyone you know that is struggling with infertility issues, I highly recommend them go to a local infertility speacialist or contact ACRM (atlantainfertility.com). Sometimes the solution to an infertility issue is as simple as some medicine, a shot or a small procedure.

I am so very overwhelmed with the abundant blessing that God has given Adam and I in the life of our child.

6 WEEK ULTRASOUND

This is our baby...the size of a piece of rice
(3mm)
Here is our baby again and the heartbeat readout
We had our 6 week ultrasound today! So we now have an official due date which is March 9, 2009. We were able to see the heartbeat and our little one. Thats right there is just one inside me. Though the doctor did say that there was a great chance for me to have multiples because I ovulated 5 eggs! But only one took, which is all I want is one healthy baby! Our baby measured at 3 millimeters, about the size of a grain of rice. I will have pictures uploaded hopefully today. I just tried and it would not load. Pray that our little one grows healthy and strong. We are overwhelmed with Joy!

4th of July Weekend

Adam and I had a great fourth of July weekend! We spent the weekend with my mom, dad, brother, sister in law, nephew and grandparents. We celebrated my Bob-Bob's 84th birthday. Hudson enjoyed helping Bob-Bob open his presents!

Exciting News

After about a year and a half of trying, praying, screaming, crying, long drives, support from friends and family and about 100 sticks with needles, Adam and I are proud to announce that we are PREGNANT!! We found out on June 29th. As of Monday (July 7) I am five weeks pregnant. I go to the doctor on Monday (july 14th) and will have an ultrasound done. On that day we will hopefully be able to see or hear the heartbeat. If all goes well on Monday I will be released from the specialist and get to go back to my normal OBGYN!

I am so very grateful for God blessing Adam and I with this pregancy. It has been a very long, faith trying, sometimes very difficult road this last year and a half. But like everything else in my life, God truly made "Everything beautiful, in HIS time."

The main verse that I prayed everyday was 1st Samuel 1:11, "O Lord Almighty, if you will only look upon your servant's misery and remember me and not forget your servant but will give her a son (or daughter), I will give him or her to you for the rest of their lives."!

Now my prayer is that I will be the best possible mother I can be, to this precious gift that God has given Adam and I. It is overwhelming to me, to think that God has already layed out every step that this child is going to make (Psalm 139).

Thank you! Thank you! to all who prayed for us and supported us! We would never would have made it with out you! Now as I begin this journey of pregnancy we asked for your prayer for a healthy happy child, a relatively easy pregnancy and a smooth delivery! Any pregnancy suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

How it all began!

Adam and I met in August of 2004. We met at a church Bible study and joked around the entire service instead of listening! On our first date we went to Houston's and later went out for expresso. After our first date, I was done. I knew that Adam was it! After dating for a little over a year, Adam proposed to me on the top of Kennesaw mountain! It was amazing! We were married in March of 2006 at my home church, ERBC, in Greenville, SC. Adam has worked for his family company since graduating from GA State University. After graduating from Gardner-Webb University and Southeastern Seminary I moved to Woodstock, GA to join the staff at FBCW. I work there for 4 1/2 years, then went on to Noonday Baptist for 18 months and currently I am about to begin me 2nd year of teaching at Cherokee Christian. Adam and I also have a precious Italian Greyhound named Bella. Then on June 29, 2008 we recieved some very exciting and worth the wait news!
