Under the table and dreaming
Can you see me?
Ahhh you found me!I gave this blog its name after the absolutely best CD ever "Under the table and dreaming" by Dave Matthews band! So this evening Ava was crawing to go see Adam as he came in from work. But she got distracted by the dinning room table and chairs. She crawled under the table and pulled herself up. When she noticed Adam and I looking at us, she gave us her "scrunchy face".
Yeah for Noah!!
Noah at one year old (Ava and Noah were born 4 days apart)I know many of you prayed for little Noah who was a little boy that was in the NICU with Ava. When Ava was discharged from the NICU, we left and I was forgot to get Noah's mommy's information so that we could stay together. Well, on SUnday I worked in the nursery with one of the nurses that work in the NICU and took care of both Noah and Ava. I asked her about Noah. She said she really couldn't say anything but that his picture was up on the bulletin board in the NICU. Parents that have had kids in the NICU send updated pictures up to the nurses and doctors and they put them up on this large bulletin board in front of the NICU. So I went on Facebook to see if I could find Noah's mom, Melissa and I found her. Noah went home and is doing great! God has truely done a miracle in this little boys life. Just to tell everyone who prayed hard for Noah thank you!!!

On Monday at Gymboree it was a girls only class (well accept for Madi's dad!). Ava, Mya and Madi had fun playing and socializing together. It is so funny to see how soon little girls starting wanting to be together and chatting...ignoring everything else going on.

Hudson wanted Ava to wrestle with himAva is so blessed to have super fun cousins, McClellen and Hudson. Ava has so much fun playing tea party, activity table and having girl talk with McClellen. Ava has a great time with Hudson, getting to rough house. This week Ava went to get her one year picture made. It was an extra special event because Ava had her picture taken at the same place the Mommy got her one-year picture taken. Ava did a great job and we have a ton of great shots to decide on! Her favorite thing to do was to play in the mirror while we got her dressed!!

One year old check up!

Here are some fun pictures that I took of Ava tonight. I finally captured her great, make my heart melt, smile! She is also showing off her tool set that she recieved from her b-day. Daddy likes to work with a hammer and nails in make some great wood working. So Ava wanted to do it too!
At Ava's one year appointment she weighed 16.8 pounds and was 27..almost 28 inches long. She can now start drinking whole milk and get off formula (praise the Lord for the money we will save!). Also, she is now allowed to eat pretty much anything, which will make meal preparation easier. Ava now has two botton teeth and the top two teeth are starting to come in.
What an amazing, miracle year it has been! To God be the glory! Great things He has done!!

Are Ya Happy and You Know It?
Ava has learned the "motions" to "If You Are Happy and You Know It". Please ignore Mommy's beautiful singing and just enjoy watching Ava enjoying music time at home! It is so fun to see Ava growing, changing and learning each and everyday.
In order to watch the video and hear the words being sung, make sure you click the pause button on the play list. Then click on play on the video.
