Nobody puts baby in a corner!

So Ava handled the little slide with no problem

So why not do the big slide

Today went went to DAC kids because the weather outside was definitely frightful! Ava loves playing on the jumpies, huge sandbox and indoor tree house. At Dac's there is a large slide in the shape of a boat, which most of the bigger and older children play on. Well, last week Ava went down the slide by herself and loved it, but she wanted Mommy to carry her up the ladder to the slide. No wonder I am so sore! But today after watching a older boy climb up the ladder, she decided she wanted to do it too. She is a little bit too short (shocker), to climb up by herself, but with a little step on Mommy's hand, she climbed up all by herself! There is nothing this little miracle girl can't do if she puts her mind and strong will to!!
These last two weeks Ava has had would I like to call a "preemie jump"! To me it means, that for many months we will struggle with getting to the next mile stone and then all of a sudden there is a huge jump in ability. So now Ava is climbing, playing and physically doing all the things her older friends (2 1/2-3 1/2) year olds are doing. Lately, I have really worrried about her speech, it has been a challenge to get her to say some words. Well, now all of a sudden she is using new words every day and even putting them together in 2 and 3 word phrases...her favorite being "No Mommy"!! Oh how blessed I am feeling today! My favorite movie is Dirty Dancing and my favorite line from that movie is, "Nobody puts baby in a corner"! That is what I think about with Ava. Watch out world, this little preemie is unstoppable!

Go on a pony ride and get your picture taken with Santa

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas around the Cooler house. Today we started decorating the house, making cookies, playing with Little people Nativity scene, watching Rudolph the red nose reindeer and putting up the Christmas tree. After we decorated the house we went to the local Ace Hardware store for a pony ride and a picture with Santa. Ave road on the pony with Mommy, though she was not too thrilled about it. Ava was not too happy with being held by Santa so Mommy had to jump into the picture. What a fun family day to get us all in the Christmas spirit!

P is for Princess

My pink princess

Watching P is for Princess with necklaces and a tiarra

This afternoon after nap, Ava and I watched P is for Princess together. No princess movie is complete with out neckclesses and a tiarra, right!
When I was single and wearing my 14th bridesmaid dress I was not sure this day would happen. When I was having difficulty becoming pregnant and I kept on getting one negative result after another, I was not sure this day would ever happen. But today, God sprinkled me with just a little bit more of His grace. Today, the day did come and I got to play princesses with my very own pink princess! TO HIM WHO IS ABLE TO DO ABUNDANTLY MORE THEN WE COULD EVER ASK OR IMAGINE!!!

I love my tree house

Ready to slide

Ava is so lucky that her Daddy is so talented! We have had the tree house/playset in our back yard since we bought the house almost 4 years ago. Ava loves to play in the tree house part and go down the slide. But in order to play up so high, Mommy or Daddy would have to pick her up because the ladder for the slide was old and had rods instead of steps. Today, because Daddy is so talented, he fixed the steps, so now Ava can climb up into the treehouse all by herself. She is becoming such a big girl!

Girls Lunch: Ava, Harper and Emily

Today Ava had a super fun time playing at DAC KIDS with her friends. DAC KIDS has a big indoor sandbox, tree house and jumpies. I was a little bit nervous on how Ava would do, but she loved it! She kept up with all the big girls and really enjoyed the jumpies. Last time we went to a jumpie place she cried the whole time. Today she was unafraid and went on even the big slide, by herself. After a fun morning of playing we all went to Wendy's for lunch.
